14th Annual Salisbury Area National Day of Prayer Breakfast

SFG Wealth Management sponsored a table at the 14th Annual Salisbury Area National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 7, 2026, held at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Bill Swartz and Christina Horchar were among the almost 700 attendees who heard a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, prayer, and unity in our community and across our nation.

This year’s breakfast carried special significance as attendees reflected on America’s 250th anniversary and the importance of remembering our nation’s Godly foundations. The theme for the 2026 National Day of Prayer, “Glorify God Among the Nations,” based on 1 Chronicles 16:24, was woven throughout the morning’s message and prayers.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing from keynote speaker Tim Barton, president of WallBuilders, who shared insights about America’s Biblical and constitutional heritage and encouraged attendees to remain grounded in faith and prayer as we face today’s challenges.

Before the breakfast officially began, local pastors led a time of corporate prayer for our city, region, and country, setting a meaningful tone for the entire event. It was inspiring to see so many community leaders, pastors, first responders, educators, and citizens gathered together with one common purpose — praying for our nation, our leaders, our families, and our future.
